When I feed LO at night, I occasionally pick him up and his face has dried spit up or his sheets are wet. Poor thing I picked him up this morning and there was a ton of spit up next to him and it was all over his pajamas. I keep him elevated with a crib wedge and burp him after I feed but I don't know what else to try.

Mine is a spitter and has always spat-up all the time, including in his crib. Since it's such a normal occurance I don't think anything of it (except, oh, I should change that crib sheet today). It doesn't seem to bother him.

I try to burp her as best I can but sometimes there's no avoiding spit-up! I figure I'd it bothers a baby, the baby will cry, otherwise they don't really notice. I hate the smell! But it doesn't seem to bother her! This is not recommended but I put her down somewhere between on her back and on her side, just in case.

My LO does this too and I worry about her choking at night. She seems fine, but it still makes me worry.

I don't really think there is anything else you can do to stop it. My LO has always been a happy spitter and whilst it's better now (at 4 months), for a while she was waking up every morning with dried spit up in her hair and wet sleepers. It never bothered her so we didn't worry about it. It's more of a laundry issue than anything if LO isn't complaining.
