Both last month and this month, I've had some light bleeding around the time I was supposed to ovulate. But both times, I never got a LH surge. My period came as expected last time, with the same amount of bleeding as always (I read that if it was an anovulay cycle, the bleeding should have been lighter or not at all).

I started testing a week early this month to be sure I wasn't missing ovulation. Should I be testing more than once a day to ensure I don't miss it? Or am I just not ovulating?

This is my sixth cycle since I had my second child, if it matters.
