I'm a week into taking the mini pill and have been spotting, sometimes it's heavier which makes me think it's my period, but doesn't last long at all. I'm 7 weeks PP and EBF so I wasn't expecting to get my period back so soon.
Anyones else have this problem on mini pill?

My IVF nurse told me breakthrough bleeding was common while on the pill. I'm on the regular pill and have been spotting quite a bit for two weeks. It's annoying.

I get my period a lot on the mini! On my 3rd for the last month.

Yep, I got my period on the mini pill. I had two periods a month on the mini pill. For me, it's just not an effective birth control especially when I was breastfeeding. I was so miserable on it.

I spotted for six months on the pill. The dr told me it was normal 
Gah, it sucked so bad. By month 7/8, I had totally stopped

@blackbird: When we weaned LO, I switched to a combo pill and feel a thousand times better.

@autumnlove: I think it was the Jolivette. I seriously had the worst experience on it. When I breastfeed again, I'm going to consider doing condoms until weaning. I hated, hated the mini pill.

I've been told that basically anything is normal on the mini pill! I've been taking it for about 5 years (with a break to TTC) and I've never had any major issues. Once or twice I've skipped a period or gotten it early, but that's about it for me.

I couldn't do the mini pill. I bled all the dang time. Like, I bled for like 3 weeks straight at a time.

Yep, I bled too. I hated it and everytime I was bleeding, my pump output decreased so I gave up on it.

I took the mini pill between my 2 pregnancies. I didn't have any spotting or AF until 10 months PP, but then I would spot for a few days leading up to AF. FWIW, I had spotting issues before that pill, so I'm not sure they are related. Also, I became really moody and slightly depressed on the mini pill, so I would not take it again.
