Once he started standing on his own, within 2 weeks he was taking steps. He's 10 months and will take up to 20-25 steps but still crawling more than walking. I'm thinking by 11 months he will be full on walking.

My daughter started scooting at 8 months, finally got the crawling thing down at 10 months, was standing and cruising probably by 11 months, has been able to stand on her own since 13.5 months, and now at 15 months has taken 4 steps (at most!) on her way to falling down. Sooo...we're still waiting, and I'm pretty sure this walking business is going to have to be HER idea. She just goes to crawling when we encourage her or try to get her to walk between us. It's hilarious.

Liam just took his first steps tonight at 11 months! He hasn't really been standing without holding on at all, so I was really surprised. I know a baby who has been standing alone for months, but hasn't walked at all. Every baby is different!
