Is it just me, or does a steel straw sound like a bad idea for anyone? Ouch!

We have several sets of stainless steel straws we use in lemonade/mixed drinks in mason jars for bbqs....they're great! They look nice and stay cold. It sounds like it's the ridge in these that is the problem, or maybe kids jamming them into the roof of their mouth (which I imagine would hurt quite a bit with Any straw!).

We have stainless steel straws at home that we've used for years and I love them! They're no waste since they are reusable and they're cute!

I can remember ever used a stainless steel straw not sure I've even seen one in person. I only know of plastic and paper straws

I love mine as well! We wanted to get away from plastic food/drink containers and we love that it stays cold and doesn't hold on to flavors nor stains like plastic does.

I don't have any but I considered it when thinking of buying things that are reusable.
The only issue I have is I prefer straws that are see through so you can see if it is clean properly. After seeing how dirty my Dr Brown vent systems got after not cleaning with the pipe cleaner... It kinda worries me that a stainless steel straw can unknowingly harbor yucky stuff.
