I prefer to see old threads bumped because it's easier for everyone to have responses limited to one place.

It depends, but I usually start a new one unless I know it was JUST answered. I think I've only bumped one or two old ones. It also gives newer bees the chance to chime in.

I will start a new one if one hasn't been started in a few months, otherwise I will just read the answers given and hope it answers my question. I don't bump a lot, but not sure why...

I usually start a new one... I usually don't comment on older ones- not sure why, I just feel like I shouldn't! ha. Or sometimes I'll start to comment and realize I already did however many months ago.

I prefer to start a new thread if it's been over 6 months. there will be a lot of new input available, and I feel like people are more likely to respond if it's a new thread vs bumped (depending on the topic)
