Long flight ahead so I'm looking forward to starting. Is it as good as theHunger Games? I liked book 1 then the rest were ok. Did you read all? I rarely read fiction but the plot looks interesting.

I loved it! the second book in the trilogy, Insurgent, recently came out as well. I liked it as well as the Hunger Games, but they're totally different plot lines, even though they both have to do with a dystopian-type future.

I liked it A LOT. DH and I actually listened to the first one together on my Kindle and we're listening to the second now. I liked it just as much as Hunger Games!

I thought it was good - it's a student fav at school.
If you're looking for another great dystopian read I just finished For Darkness Shows the Stars - very different from Hunger Games, but I loved it!
Other similar reads for when you're done with Divergent: Matched by Ally Condie and The Selection by Kiera Cass.

Hrm, I got maybe 1/4 or 1/3 of the way through and just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll have to give it another try.

i LOVED it. am in the middle of insurgent right now and loving that, too. the matched series is okay, not as great, but i also enjoyed legend by marie lu.

I LOVED it. I've read both it and Insurgent several times. I would say I liked them just about as much as the Hunger Games.

Oh great!! I read just a few chaps and it will probably take awhile to finish- like a month since I'm super busy. But I'm looking forward to it based on what you already said. In the first few chapters I kept trying to classify my personality into a faction. Did you do that too?
