OK, so my fabulous pal told me today that both she and her sister got pregnant VERY soon after their miscarriage and that it's common to be very fertile right after a MC. I sincerely hope she is right 
But since I know how many of us have been through all of this before, I thought it would be interesting to get a poll going.
For those who have had a sticky BFP/successful pregnancy/are holding that rainbow baby in your arms, how many cycles post-MC did it take for you to get there?

I had a two chemicals in a row, and a third three months later. I got pregnant again a month after that.

It took 4 cycles, but I also had 3 months before that to get my period back after D&C

I'm hoping this is a sticky baby but I won't participate in the poll just yet. I got my BFP on my first cycle post miscarriage (took 2 months) and am 7.5 weeks now.

3 months almost to the day between the BFP that I miscarried and my sticky BFP.

AF never came after mc, bfp instead. She was born Oct 2012. We will never know for sure, but there were likely twins and we lose one, but we are happy/lucky to get DD. fx for you. I have heard many great stories of bfp's right after.

Hoping for sticky babies for all of you...
After my first miscarriage, it took 3 cycles since I took a month off. That BFP also ended in miscarriage. It took 2 cycles after that to get pregnant with my LO. Had another miscarriage this past September and we're still trying for a BFP...so, 5 months?

We took a month off, and then got pregnant on the first try. But we also got pregnant on the first try with the pregnancy I lost. I think that how long it took you to get pregnant the first time around is the best indication of how long it will likely take the next time.

@MamaMoose: I'm not sure how right that is...at least it wasn't for me. It took me 10 cycles the first time, and 3 the second. There is some suggestion that your body is more fertile after a loss, and therefore easier to get pregnant again...
ETA: Of course I know you weren't saying it's a rule or anything!

I had both situations:
1st loss - Took over 6 cycles and my cycles were crazy wacky. This was an early loss but still required a D&C.
2nd loss - Later loss but wasn't really trying the first month and it just must have been timed right with one session because thats all it took.

5 cycles, but 8 months (long cycles). We conceived our son 3 days before my original due date.

I asked a similar question after mine (http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/if-your-bfp-ended-in-a-mc-how-many-cycles-later-did-it-take-to-get-pregnant-again) just in case you'd like more opinions! I never updated it, but I got pregnant with a sticky (so far - I'm 10weeks tomorrow) during my second cycle.

I put 2, but that's not entirely accurate. We waited till I got AF back, and then the maternal-fetal specialist said to wait one more cycle to allow my uterine lining to fully recover (it was my second in a very short time). We started trying after that and got what looks to be our sticky bfp on the second try.

This is cycle 3 since the CP, but we weren't allowed to try that first month, and weren't supposed to try last month. So, I guess this is our real first attempt at it since that happened.

I had a D&C in September - AF returned October for an unsuccessful cycle, then the cycle in November is when I got my sticky BFP! So i voted for 2 cycles. i am just shy of 14 weeks today. Hang in there, and let me know if you have any questions.

I just miscarried last month also. DH isn't ready for us to try again immediately, and all the talk of being so fertile right after is making me so nervous!
I'd rather just go for it right away, but alas, I think we'll be waiting a few months to jump back on that boat. Our first BFP was a total surprise so I think he's thinking more practically than me (being in a larger house, having more savings, etc) than my heart wants to be!

I put other. the first set of clomid cycles went: BFP (chemical), BFN, BFP (chemical), BFP (now 2 year old). so no break between chemical and success.
second set of cycles with the RE went BFP (chemical), BFN, BFN, BFP (chemical), and here we are hoping again for a sticky baby this cycle.
obviously chemicals are different than having a D&C, but it is definitely possible to get pregnant as soon as you start trying again.
