This is our first year doing stockings and I'm stumped. Other than candy, what other stocking stuffers do you put in your SO's stocking?

@rahlyrah: I was just coming on to post the same thing!
In the past we have done candy, magazines, socks, gift cards, DVDs, and CDs. One year DH got coasters!
I'm looking for some creative ideas and something a little more special (but still frugal) for DH.

I've never done stockings. Could you do fancy things like a watch or cuff links?

We haven't done stockings yet for each other, but probably will when our LO is older so hers isn't the only stocking that is filled. We will probably stick mostly to candy, though.

I normally pick a candy, a Lego set (like the holiday themed ones that come in a bag?), maybe an iTunes giftcard, then another small item per person. But I used to do my mom and dad and hubs. Not sure about this year.

I usually put a bit of candy, usually a Toblerone, a Starbucks card, some stuff for the car like air fresheners or a pack of wipes. An orange, travel toiletries if we have any trips planned.
This year I put a mini copy of a Zombie Apocalypse survival guide and "Romance for Dummies" as a joke, and one of those little games they sell by the cash register at the bookstore. This year it's finger hockey.

Tangerines for tradition, little kitchen implements (coffee frother, corkscrew, wine stop, etc), tea/coffee, gift cards...

We don't do big gifts for Christmas usually, so we just stuff stockings. For my husband I always include Reese's trees and then a few small gifts. I also put things like the expensive floss picks and a toothbrush. This year will include a new headlamp I think this is an excellent gift for anyone actually), a sheet of Stickygrams magnets, hand-warmers, and hunting soap. I'm still trying to think of a few more things, but that's where I'm at so far.

We do a lot of the stuff that has already been mentioned, but another perennial favourite in our house is alottery scratch ticket in each adult's stocking.

we only do stockings. I do some kitchen stuff, candy, chocolate, gift cards, shaving cream, scratch tickets, and then little odds and ends I find in the stores.

We do funny things that we find and think the other person would enjoy - small games or toys, key chains, funny t-shirts, magazine subscriptions, snacks (we always put a bag of pistachios in my dad's stocking). This year I got some notepads and packs of cards from the Target dollar bin.
