I hear Stride Rite has creating a line of shoes at Target. Anyone have experience with these and willing to provide feedback? I like to get quality footwear for the kids and usually get their sneakers from Stride Rite, New Balance, Saucony, etc. but it really adds up! Curious to see if the Stride Rite line at Target is comparable quality wise to its usual products.

@serenity207: I bought two pairs of sneakers for my almost 3 year old a month or two ago (BOGO 1/2) and so far so good! It hasn't been that long though yet, but I like them! They seem sturdy.

I only looked at them briefly but was curious. My local target isn't great so there were only a handful in stock.
But, prt of the reason I like stride rite is so a salesperson can measure her foot and help me buy the right size. I still don't feel confident to do that myself.

I haven't tried them yet, but a friend of mine told me about them. She said she bought a pair for her 4-yr old and one for her 1 yr old and they both love them. She said she thought they seemed comparable, quality-wise to the "real" Stride Rites.

Great! Thanks ladies! I think I'll give them a shot. With a coupon, they'll come out to about $21, which is a lot less than what I'm seeing with my usual brands.

We just got them (on clearance at our local store) because I wanted a "daycare" set and a "regular" set, and they have held up great. Target also has 25% off shoes right now regular/clearance with Cartwheel, you could et them for a steal! I got ours for $12 a few weeks ago when they were running 30% off. For that price you can't beat it!

@Lulumom - wow, that really is a steal! I was planning on using the Cartwheel but estimated them to come out to about $21 since I see they're $28 online. Fingers crossed my Target has some on clearance as well!

@serenity207: I just saw the ones we got on clearance (the pink/purple sparkle...she picked out of course) were still full price on the site, so fingers crossed yours have some on sale! I'm tempted to get another pair because her feet grow so fast!
