    @Andrea: when I did a quick Google search on "stripper names" Vivianne up a few times - I wouldn't have thought stripper name at all - I think it's really classic and old fashioned.

    Obviously, ladies, we just aren't spending enough time in strip clubs.

    This is a hilarious thread, but yeah, I've totally been guilty of thinking, That's a stripper name. Or at least that I couldn't take seriously, like, you really trust a Bambi with your taxes?
    But some of the ones on that list are ridiculous-- Claire?? Seriously? Claire is someone you trust the very first time you meet her and you know she will be a good influence on your child. Barbi might get her into trouble.

    @Andrea: omg i wanted our second to be Vivienne but DH said it reminded him of an old lady who plays canasta. Totally different imagery there...lol!!

    @shopaholic: I love the name Vivian (and the nn Viv)...I don't think it sounds like a stripper name at all!!

    Generally I think of all the virtue names as stripper names. i.e. Chastity, Charity, Harmony, Faith...

    We just said "Next up on the centre stage is....." and put in a name we were considering. If it didn't flow like it belonged there, we gave it a passing grade
