A lot of amazon reviews refer to the stroller color "standing out." Is that an important function, like having bright luggage so you can find at baggage claim, or simply a stylistic choice?
Does having a unique color stroller help you in some way?

I have three strollers, one black, one army green and one orange.
Of all of them, I liked the army green on the best.

Ours is the red City Mini. If I had seen the peacock B-Agile when I was deciding between the 2, I would have gotten it!
I think it's sort of like a fashion statement, rather than a practical thing.

Our stroller is tan/sand colored. We picked it because we thought it would stay cooler. We aren't bright colored people though so I'm not sure we would have been comfortable pushing a "loud" stroller.
I say get the color you like and feel comfortable with overall!

Unless you are going to Disney every day, you don't need it to stand out. And even then, there are SO many strollers at Disney that I guarantee there will be at least a few of the same color there.
I agree, more of a fashion statement.

I wonder if the brighter color is a selling point as it's something that would be more eye-catching to motorists and so on.

We got a bright green that we won't use till LO is here but I chose the color because I liked it. No other reason

My only consideration for stroller color was gender neutral and price.

I got a green CityMini because I didn't want boring black and I regret it. It looks so dirty now and it bugs me. I would rather have something that hides spots more easily.

We have a lime green and teal stroller. I just like the colors and didn't want a simple black. Both colors are also gender neutral so we can use them again.

We got an orange and black because the color was on sale and it's gender neutral. And I liked it.

Ours is black, because the other colours were more expensive! But if money weren't an issue, that peacock B-Agile (or the kiwi) are so much fun!

@zippylef: OMG... I'm in love with that stroller and color. I'm kind of mad that there isn't a car seat that comes in peacock, too.

@zippylef: Love the Peacock!
We have the (2012) Twilight B-Ready. It's not a bright color, but it would be easy enough to pick out in a crowd (haven't seen another like it).
ETA: It is prettier in person, but you get the idea.

We were cautioned away from black since it tends to get hot. We opted for Twilight, (light sandy gold) for our stroller since it was neutral but still pretty.

i like the bright colours, but i prefer all black for our strollers!
thankfully it doesn't get very hot here ever, so that is not an issue

It rains a ton here, so visibility was important to me. Our bob is orange and our combi is lime green. I like color, and they are gender neutral since we have a boy and a girl.

i have red, but that's just because i love the color. my second choice would have been black. so no, i don't think it matters!

I got gray because it was super on sale! (Like $200.00 off the regular price!) I would have gotten a fun color though I had the choice!

We have one black stroller and one mostly black with blue accents. Resale value crossed my mind when picking stroller colors since I'm hoping it will be easier to resell a neutral, rather than say a fuchsia stroller. But my personal style is also very muted so I wouldn't want a colorful stroller anyway.

I was all about gende neutral and a good price, although now I wish I would have put price on the backburner and really got one that works. This will be something we will probably replace with next child.

I've stayed away from black because I'm scared it will get too hot, but other than I don't think it really matters. I would opt for gender neutral.
