6-12 months is just a tad too tight for comfort, but 12-18 is still falling down.
Anyone else been stuck between their sizes? It's such a wide range of sizes it's hard to get them to fit "perfectly".

yes! I just bought him a shorts from Gap in 12-18 months and they're falling off him. But I know 6-12 months is a little too tight or might fit ok but he'll grow out of it very soon.

I am stuck cause I bought all these 3-6 summer clothes but she doesn't seem to be gaining weight. All her 0-3 bottoms still fit:( I am sick of all those clothes. But I know as soon as I would buy 0-3 she would grow out of them.

Yes! We started noticing this problem when LO was too big for the 6-12 month stuff so I bought 12-18, and she was swimming in it! I kind of stopped buying from babyGap after that because it was too annoying having to worry about sizing issues.

We were totally in BabyGap no-baby's-land between 3-6 & 6-12 for a while there. She's finally fitting in 6-12 perfectly.

@Mrs. Pen: yes! I was just telling my co-worker about this a few minutes ago. J is going to be 18 months on Monday but is 24lbs, so he's wearing 12-18. I had bought some summer items in the early spring in 18-24 and I'm doubting he'll be able to wear them
our LOs have a lot of the same clothes! the "I'll be here all week" shirt on the blog is one of our favorites, haha

Me! 6-12 is too short/tight but 12-18 too loose. She's almost 16 months!!

Willa is in between sizes too but I just buy the bigger size. She can either wear a belt or just grow into it. I don't mind her clothes looking a tad big.

Yup. I have lots of pants for her in 12 or 12-18 month that don't fit right. At the same time, I have some 18 month pants or shorts that fit just right. Grrr!!!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: I don't mind a tad big - like his polos/tees it doesn't matter that they're baggy.. but his shorts are literally falling off his waist! But his pants in 6-12 are tight enough that he can't squat in them!
@rachiecakes: He has some shorts in 12 mos from target and those fit just fine... so maybe he won't be able to wear the gap shorts until the end of the summer?
haha I love that shirt too. We have the target tee that says "I always look on the bright side" with the camera and I love that one too.

@betsyboop: some of the items I love - like jeans with adjustable waist. He was wearing his 12-18 mos pants awhile ago because on the tightest waist setting and cuffed legs they fit really well! So he's been in those a long time. But the knit-waist shorts are a bit of a dud at this point

@Mrs. Pen: dang!!! What about a cute woven baby belt? There's a seller on etsy who makes baby belts and they're so cute!

@Mrs. Pen: who much does J weigh? I got A some knit waist shorts in 12-18 months and I was hoping he could wear them by the end of summer. But maybe not? Maybe I should return them. I hate to get 6-12 months and only fit into them for a month.

@mrskc: I think 22ish lbs? I haven't weighed him in awhile. Def over 20 lbs, but less than 25.

@Mrs. Pen: ok. I think A is close to 20 if not 20 lbs. You don't give me hope he'll fit into his shorts this summer.

We are too!!! 3-6 is wayyy too short on him, but 6-12 is huuuge on the waist (and also starting to get a bit short, in leggings/pants). I just try belting all his bottoms. I need him to pork up a bit!
