Was your baby Sturdy or Squishy? DS is very sturdy. He pushes back when we try to move his limbs around, he loves to stand up on our laps and bounce himself up and down, etc.... He is 3 months. Our BFFs have a 5 month old and he is so squishy. You can easily get him laughing by touching his toes to his face, he is so easy to hold in the crook of your arm, etc... I love holding him because he is so different from our DS!

DD was sturdy. She never had that curled up newborn look. The night she was born she kicked my IV line out.

So sturdy! She was rolling and kicking from the start!

DS was sturdy. It took 3 nurses to hold his arm down in order to get his IV in while he was in the NICU, and then his arm had to be strapped to a board once it was in b/c he kept ripping it out. So, yeah...sturdy!

L was pretty sturdy. I'm kinda hoping for a squishy one this time!

K was sturdy. She lifted her head off of DH's chest when she was 24 hours old...and has been squirming and moving ever since.

Very sturdy...at a couple of weeks old she was holding her head up completely and taking weight on her legs. I have a friend who's son is the completely opposite in that he's 8.5mths and can't really stand assisted yet. Like you say, he feels so different to carry I have to make sure I'm supporting him more than I would my LO.

Sturdy! She was lifting her head within days of being born and was supporting her weight with her legs at 3 months or so.

DD is sturdy. I'm glad you posted this because I have wondered what people were talking about when they say "squishy newborn" -- we never experienced that!

Sturdy. Everyone is always "surprised by how strong she is." I still don't really know what that means!
