After two winter babies, I'm due with a June baby in the south. There are tons of cute rompers and dresses for little girls, but I'm having trouble finding an option I love for a boy. Anyone have recommendations for where to look? I feel like I've exhausted my usual go-tos (J&J, Nordstrom, Etsy, Boden) for special occasions.

I really loved Kissy Kissy for infants (though I have little experience with boys' clothes). I've bought through local boutiques but Neiman Marcus has some sweet things; not sure if they're what you're looking for though!

If my son were born in the summer I would have done a creeper from Feltman Brothers.

@Truth Bombs: My son had a Feltman outfit! It was my husband's old one.
We intended to wear a Feltman, but he managed to get that outfit dirty so ultimately wore a gown from Kissy Kissy. It was August in the South so obviously hot, but he was outside for maybe 2 minutes in all. I was more stressed about the AC making him cold!

I don't know how fancy/special you're wanting, but I bought the girl version of this Gap romper for DD2's coming home in late July/early August - their organic cotton stuff is SO soft:

I also bought the pink version of the striped kimono top/pants (also the organic cotton) because DD1 was born in August and we still brought her home in long sleeves - the A/C keeps things pretty chilly!

I had LO in August and still did a cotton sleeper from Baby Gap for her coming home outfit since it's still cold inside with the air conditioning (our hospital was freezing).

@Pancakes: how does the Kissy Kissy stuff run? I originally ordered a romper from Little English and while I love it, it's a 0-3 month and it's HUGE. It measures longer than either of my kids did at birth, and it's supposed to be shorts!
@lawbee11: I'm on the fence about that! I definitely don't want anything sleeveless, but footies seems like overkill? You're of course right about the a/c though.

I found that wth short sleeves/legs, you couldn't see much, if any, of the baby's outfit when she was squished up in the car seat. My subsequent kids wore long sleeve Dottie pjs (May) and a sweater romper (Nov).

@rattles: If I remember correctly, I'd say it fits TTS, maybe a little big. I'd definitely look for something sized Newborn instead of 0-3 mos.

@rattles: I personally find kissy kissy to run small. You could also try the brand magnolia baby which is similar to kissy kissy (website Liam and Lilly has a great selection and good sales). Also paging @LBee: who is an expert on kissy kissy!

@jape14: Agreed. In the beginning the disparity wasn't quite as big, but their newborn (and size small) fit my 6 lb 13 ozer perfectly. The converters are a bargain IMO because DS could wear the size small from birth to about 6 months.
