I would love to take a walk around the neighborhood now that I'm feeling a little better. The problem is, its supposed to be in the 90's all week, at least the next 7 days. Is there ever a time that it's too hot to take your newborn out for a walk? We wouldn't go mid day, we would wait till later when it cools off just a bit and the sun isn't high in the sky.
Would you take your newborn out in the heat and humidity?

Probably not.. I don't even like taking my toddler out in the heat. Unless it's to the pool!

I have the same worry. Where we live it's usually pretty cool in the morning, so I tend to take DD for walks then. Otherwise I worry about her overheating in her hot carseat. I think if I had a more open stroller with a bassinet attachment, I might be less worried b/c there would be more air circulation. If I really wanted to get outside on a hot day with baby, I think I would go to a shady park where we could sit on a blanket, and DD would be out of her stroller... or even better we would go hang out in the swimming pool!

I'm keeping my little girl in during this heatwave (she's 2 months). We are relaxing in the A/C. I might take her out for an early morning walk tomorrow before it gets too hot, but I'm just too afraid of her being out there in that heat.

I'd keep my son inside during peak hours, but in the early morning or evening, when temps subside, we go out.

If it was SUPER DUPER hot then I woudn't take my LO out. But if it's just hot, then I would because I would get major cabin fever. How about buying one of those fans that attach to the strollers? I see those a lot around my neighborhood and may get one for my daughter since she will be born in August!

Today its really hot so we are staying in until the sun goes down, we will go out for a walk in the evening

I live in Texas where it isn't really an option not to be in the heat if you are outside during Spring/Summer/Fall. We limit how long the walks are (max 30 minutes, usually around 15-20) and what time of day (morning) but other than that we took walks often.
