I hate wearing bras and since I work from home, I usually don't wear one! But that also means when I do, I find them super duper uncomfortable.
What are the most comfortable bras you've come across?

Coobie bras are really comfortable. I was hesitant to try one because I'm picky about the shape a bra gives me and thought it would be more like a sports bra, but it's not like that at all. They are pretty cheap on Amazon so you don't lose too much if you try one and don't like it.

I own six coobie bras. I tried to go back to regular bras but I can't!!

I agree with @Mrs. Pickle and @mrs. wagon, coobie are the best! I own 4-5 and don't know that I will ever go back to a more structured bra!

Another vote for coobie. If you are larger busted, the bravado is great. Super comfy but gives good shape.

@Mrs. Pickle: @mrs.wagon: @bushelandapeck: @simplyfelicity: Can I be super nebby and ask if you ladies are smaller or larger busted? I'm interested in the Coobie but worried it won't support me enough (I'm currently a 36D).
pomelo / 5720 posts
@ms.line: I'm a 36C. Not sure how supportive it would be for larger.
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
@ms.line: I'm a 36 F and I use the full size.. it's perfect! I wouldn't go running in it but plenty supportive for everyday.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21628 posts
@ms.line: I'm a 34D right now and I have the standard size. It's definitely supportive enough! I even wear it strapless sometimes.

@bushelandapeck: @mrs.wagon: @mrs.pickle: Great, thanks! I think I'll give the Coobie a shot!
@simplyfelicity: I'll look into the Bravado, too - thanks!

I can't wait to go back to my Coobies too once I'm done with BF!

@snowjewelz: I wear my coobies for nursing! I just pull it up on the side I'm nursing on.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@snowjewelz: I knowwwwww. I will definitely be buying those for #2. Ha! Even though that's in the undetermined future, since LO is only almost 7 months old. I was just telling my SIL about Coobies--she's due in Feb--and about how jealous I am that they made a nursing bra after I bought mine.

I know I am in the minority, I find that I need an underwire bra to feel comfortable.
I like Maidenform and Soma.

@mfa_lady: I just realized I lent a Coobie to a pregnant friend to try out.. I better get it back if she doesn't like it! What do you use now? I have the bavardo coobie-like ones from Target
@Pancakes: Haha, I guess you can! Maybe I should try!
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@snowjewelz: I don't have any nursing bras that I love! The best one is this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003P2VHRU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00
Because it's pretty and it fits well. But it's not the most super duper comfy thing ever. Honestly, whenever I can get away with it on the weekends (I mostly pump during the week b/c of work) I just wear nursing tanks under everything. So much easier--but not great-looking or that supportive.

I have begun wearing sports bras more often than not. I like the ones from Lucy and they're constantly on sale.

@snowjewelz: @mfa_lady: Have you guys tried just pulling the Coobie down on one side to nurse? I have a myriad of nursing bras and that's still my favorite way to access.
To answer the thread question, Coobie is my fave too!

@turquoisemama: same here I don't like how the cups get squished when I do that so I remove them at home and just put them in for outside of the house. I only ever wear a "real" nursing bra if all the coobies are in the wash.

I'm a 34G and having an underwire is non negotiable! I like Freya and Felina bras, with a bit of padding and a seamless back band.
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@turquoisemama: I usually pull up when I'm wearing mine! It works, but it feels more exposed if I'm out in public somewhere. Next time, I'm definitely getting the new nursing version!

Another vote for coobie!
They seem to be on sale a lot, so if you don't need them right now I would wait for them to go on sale.
persimmon / 1481 posts
@mfa_lady: I like to wear a tank so I pull down the Coobie, pull up my shirt and pull down the tank so it's just a little hole...ahh nursing...haha!
persimmon / 1481 posts
@Anya: yeah, I just remove the pads all together. They are such a pain to put back in and with nursing pads in place, there's really no need!
pomelo / 5678 posts
Well, I'm nursing, in the Bravado Bliss. I never ever ever wear underwires- I don't think they are healthy! I'll purchase a bra with one and actually take it out!
pomegranate / 3921 posts
@turquoisemama: Hahahaha, I just acted that out! Got it. Seems like a good solution!
pear / 1737 posts
When you wear the coobie, how much does it look like you are wearing a regular bra with underwire? I keep hearing about them so much on here, but I definitely want my boobs to look and feel supported.
Edit: just looked on Amazon and there a bunch of different types of coobie bras. Which ones are people rocking?
Thanks! Underwire bras are digging into my rib cage at this stage of my pregnancy.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@turquoisemama: I'm totally gonna try the coobie to pump/nurse! I guess I just never thought about going back to it, since I do have nursing bras/tanks!
persimmon / 1481 posts
@Mrs. Goose: I think they look pretty normal, especially if you leave the pads in. The one thing they aren't good for is wearing with a low cut shirt if you want cleavage. I have the "strappy scoop neck" and a "lace coverage." I'm thinking of trying the lace v neck next though.

Another vote for coobie! Though, I'm pregnant and small chested. For pregnancy, I wanted something comfortable and plus pregnancy makes my boobs look bigger. Pre-pregnancy, I liked padded bras. Not sure after being pregnant and after nursing, if I'll need to go back to padded bras. Guess it depends if I keep some of my boobs or go back to my pre-pregnancy size.
pear / 1770 posts
@Mrs. Goose: Not sure if you ordered one yet, but I got my first Coobie the other day and it is *definitely* a different look from an underwire bra. It doesn't provide the level of support I hoped for, so I don't think I'll be wearing it out, but it is cozy for hanging out around the house.
squash / 13208 posts
@Mrs. Bee: I asked on another post about finding a bra and @tmom suggested the Natori feathers - I got them yesterday and am wearing one today - OMG its sooo comfy and by far the prettiest bra I own!
pear / 1737 posts
@ms.line: no, I didn't yet. That's good to know. I bought a sports bra type nursing bra from a maternity store a few weeks ago and am trying to make that hold out longer. It is comfortable and has some little pads in it, but it doesn't give me a lot of support and I caught myself in the mirror with it the other day and realized I probably shouldn't be wearing it out of the house....underwire digs into me though right now because my uterus is pushing up underneath. I usually just take off my bra once I get home!
