DD is 4 and has never been good with loud or even moderately loud noises. I've chalked it up to her just being a crazy toddler but I'm wondering if I should actually take her to get her ears checked?

Examples of noises she can't tolerate - the blender, mixer, hairdryer, public bathrooms, movies in a theater, any sound that comes out of a speaker like at a music event, etc. We bought her those noise muffling headphones but even with them on she keeps her hands on top of them over her ears because she says it's still too loud. This weekend we missed our town's Christmas Parade because she remembered it was loud last year and was hysterical she didn't want to hear it again! Ironically I feel like SHE is super loud, like the volume of her normal voice.

Wondering if anyone else has had this and actually gone to a doctor for it or if they just grew out of it!
