I need some reassurance that this will end! E will be 9 months old next week and his sleep has gone from wonderful STTN to complete crap in the past week. I think he's teething but no stinking teeth have broken through. He's had a low fever and been really clingy.

Buttt the sleep is the worst. His naps aren't bad but he's started waking up once every 2ish hours (it's 4:55am here and he's whining in his crib and has been awake since 4:15- this is wake up #5 since he went to bed at 7:30). He won't go back to sleep unless DH or I are in his room with our hand on his back or playing with his hair.

He's obviously exhausted during the day. Yesterday he napped for 3.5 hours in the morning! Does this sound like a sleep regression? Did you have to do anything for it to get better or did your LO's sleep just fix itself all of a sudden?

Also, he's now sitting/standing up in the crib. So if I leave him there to whine (like I used to do) he just stands up and works himself up. Help!
