Sometimes I worry about swaddling my LO.bit definitely helps him sleep but sometimes he just looks soooo restricted it makes me sad and worried! Doesn't seem to bother him though.
Anyone else ??

How old is your LO? We swaddled C really tight (the hubs did it a lot tighter than I did), but it really calmed her down. As long as your LO's hips aren't restrained, I think you're fine!

DH always calls the swaddle the baby straight jacket. I'm not looking forward to swaddle weaning, because he flops all around like a crazy kid without it!

It drove my Inlaws nuts I think haha. Just think of how tightly he was curled up in utero! I

@HabesBabe: only 5 weeks ! His hips are loose but boy those arms are tight !

@coacheswife123: my daughter has hip dysplasia and her surgeon I'd very against swaddling anything but the arms. We use Halo swaddle sleepsacks as they're super loose around the body but great on the arms. I know what you mean about feeling bad, I do too but it sure helps her sleep and she always busts out of it anyway, lol.

I agree, we put it tight on the arms, but never even folded up the legs/hips so she had plenty of room to kick.

@travelgirl1: yep we use a swaddleme blanket ! He can kick kick kick and we also leave one arm out
