Hi mamas,
This could be a dumb question, but who knows. We cloth diaper, but we got some swim trunks for DS for the summer. Did/do/will you just do disposable swim diapers under them, or a cloth swim diaper? Isn't that bulky?
Help!

We bought two cloth swim diapers and they weren't bulky under her swim bottoms at all. They are supposed to be snugger to keep the poop in.

I use applecheeks swim diapers. They fit very snug and go under swim trunks with no bulk. I personally don't like the disposable swim diapers at all and have never used them.

We do a swim cloth diaper- got at Target last year... it's only been a problem when she poops, we lost our backup at the beach last year. It's bulky but no bulkier than regular CDs, and has never affected how bathing suits fit DD.

We've been using disposable swim diapers this summer because a girlfriend gave me a massive box that doesn't fit her kid anymore!

I don't cloth diaper but I've been using the Honest Co reusable swim diapers and it's not bulky at all. They're not meant to hold pee, so they won't be bulky.

Cloth swim diapers aren't bulky as there isn't an insert for absorbing liquid. We liked Applecheeks.

We use our Grovia AI2s under swim trunks, but we don't snap the inserts in! I think you can do this with any pocket or AI2 diaper. We also have a cloth swim diaper from Target that I really like

@grizz: have you had any issues with the chlorine affecting the diapers? I was afraid it would ruin mine...

@Mrs. Lion: I bought them super cheap at our local CD store's seconds sale. They're not in perfect shape, but I only paid like $3-5 each for them so I'm not too worried

@Mrs. Lion: For the Applecheeks?! That's awesome! I really want to look into Applecheeks to fill out our stash when we have baby #2.
