LO turned 2 mos yesterday and is finally big enough to fit into the Charlie Banana and BG 4.0 cloth diapers! We are transitioning today (we tried a few days already but they were still a bit big). I have 18 total (plus 6 more I am going to wait to wash...not sure if we will need them since she is going to be going to 3 day/week daycare and they will only take 'sposies) and pre-washed them with Nellie's.
Any tips from the seasoned cloth diapering mamas out there?

Just go for it! ...and if you start having leaking issues, deal with those when they come up. Leaking can come from bad fit or laundry issues.

Yep, dive right in! I spray our diapers with Bac-Out and I think it cuts down on the smell if you're not washing every other day. Oh, and prepare to size-up your little one's clothes. Our son needed larger pants to go over the diapers (although with the warmer weather we're happy to go without pants!)
Also, I'd suggest hanging to dry in the sun as often as possible. We didn't because it was winter and I didn't think it was that important and now some are stained. Not a big deal, but I think the sunning is worth it!

I stopped putting DD in onesies or sleepers so that I could frequently check to see if her diaper was wet (she didn't mind being wet so she could go a long time bw changes if I let her). Like the others said, dive right in and enjoy!

At first it was hard for us to switch over to cloth because disposables are so much easier. But you get used to it really quickly, just stick with it!

And I will definitely be sunning them when weather permits.

So far LO seems to be wanting to really break them in! Haha lots of poopy diapers so far today. 
Guess that means she likes them!

I love them! The biggest help to me has been to join a cloth Q&A group on Facebook to be able to ask questions when they arise. My favorite is Mimi's Cloth Diaper Q&A Help.
