We will be in and around Switzerland this summer (with a car) and I’m trying to put together an itinerary. We will have 4 to 5 kid-free days and nights and will road trip around the country during that time. We will most likely enter Switzerland near Basel. After, we will have a week with our LOs (5 and 8) near Geneva. Any recommendations for cities, sights, food, or activities?

Sounds lovely! I haven’t done much in Switzerland, but one of my all time favorite places is Annecy in France, near the Swiss border. It’s under an hour drive from Geneva. There’s a beautiful lake and mountains and the cutest city center.

I absolutely loved Switzerland. A highlight for me was the Trummelbach Falls... walking through all the caverns weaving in and out of waterfalls was incredible.
