Oh my goodness! I've been checking that other thread thinking you'd be updating with "he's all good!" soon. Sending tons of strong mama vibes your way, and healthy strong baby vibes to your son. I'm so glad you took him in!

We are hanging out in an ER room. He's still feeling the same but gave his daddy a few smiles. The pediatrician that came in when he got here said he felt pretty certain it's viral meningitis, which is the least bad form of meningitis (didn't know how to word that otherwise). They're going to have to draw some spinal fluid which from what they've told me is pretty painless, but traumatic because they have to hold him in a ball shape.
I don't know where we go from there.
Also PSA: I mentioned in one of my threads yesterday that we noticed his soft spot was bulging. That's the huge flashing red light of meningitis and everyone's told me so far that parents rarely notice it and bring it to a doctors attention. The ped at he hospital even asked if I was medically trained for noticing it. So keep an eye out.
