    Thinking about you!

He didn't have meningitis, but my son had to have a spinal tap at seven weeks to rule it out after an unexplained fever. He was very upset, but calmed right down when I came back into the room and he got to nurse.

The test results came back. They told us it's not meningitis but now they're saying they can't completely rule it out...so I don't know. We are admitted and he's going to have to do more tests. I'm at my wits end. I'm ready to bite the next hand that reaches for my baby. He pulls away from me even when I try to hold his hand because he's been poked and prodded and hurt so much today. The nurse raised his arm to check his temperature and he screamed bloody murder and looked so scared.

I can't take any more of it. I want to just take him home. My heart is so hurt right now

@Danizaur: oh, mama, I'm so sorry. Poor little T. I completely understand how upsetting it is to see your LO in pain. But the doctors and nurses are doing what they have to to make sure your little boy gets better. I hope everyone gets some rest tonight.

@Danizaur: Oh mama, I'm so so sorry. There is nothing worse than unexplained test results and the continued sticks. I've been there, and I wouldn't wish that kind of experience on anyone.

I just kept telling myself that J wouldn't remember any of this later - and it's true. This is much harder on parents than it is on those tough little cookies. With any luck he will get a good snooze soon and feel better, and they will be able to give you some answers.

I'm saying another prayer for you both
