DH is just waiting on meds. They drained the infection and prescribed him some antibiotics for a few days. No big deal! After I can get T to sleep I think we can all rest comfortably tonight

Phew. So glad to hear this. It's a good job you trusted your instincts and took him to the doctor. Get 100% well soon T!

We slept decently considering it was hospital sleep. He was up every 2 hours but a diaper change and nursing always put him back to sleep. They came in and did his vitals and it would wake him up but they hooked up his antibiotics at midnight and he slept right through it. No fever for about 24 hours now! His doctors round between 8-10 so we'll see what they say.

Assuming his cultures stay negative til 5:30pm we get to go home! The doctors feel pretty certain they will. They're gonna try and have everything ready so as soon as the turn up negative they can discharge us ASAP!

We're going home! We are waiting for daddy to being the stroller up (this hospital is huge) and then we are busting out! They've ruled it as just a virus. Such a relief!!
I want to thank every single one of you who gave us support and listened (read) all of my thoughts, emotions, and updates. HB has always been a great support system to lean on. You all are wonderful. I didn't get to reply to many posts, but I read every single one of them. Thanks for being here for us. I mean that sincerely from the bottom of my heart.
