They had a cancellation so he's back getting thee MRI now. He was already asleep before they knocked him out. It'll be an hour or so before we get to see him.

I can't imagine being in your position - saying lots of prayers for T, you and the doctors - so you can get this all figured out soon! Poor guy.

We are done with the MRI. He woke up and nursed and now he is almost acting like normal. Still a little droopy and tired but kicking and playing and talking. Not as many smiles as usual but he did give us a few.
Waiting on those results and the 48 hour spinal draw. Labs came back clean so it's looking more and more like just a virus.
With good news comes bad news. DH is going to have to make a trip down to the ER tonight after we hear the MRI results. We haven't been paying attention but his big toe has been swollen and painful for a few days and we just happened to look and it's red and puffy all the way up his foot. Too scary to take chances.

MRI results are normal. Labs and cultures are clean. Most likely looking at a virus or a bug. Gonna continue antibiotics until that 48 hour mark. More than likely going home tomorrow!!
