I have some bottle questions. LO is 11 weeks tomorrow. She is exclusively bottle fed (was 1/2 and 1/2 BM/formula but I'm pretty much dried up now, sadly.)

Just this week she's seemed to fuss while feeding. Not unhappy fuss, just moves her head around, does little back bends, kicks, etc. She seems more alert/active in general, so not sure if that's related to her growing in general, or to feeding.

We've been using Medela bottles since she was born, mostly with the nipples we got from the hospital (green base) and sometimes with the medela nipples. The medela nipples would be great except they seem to always flatten out when she's eating (I'll notice it- she'll be sucking and not getting anything) and then I pull it out of her mouth and they do this (see picture.) They've always done that for as long as we've used them, so we use them rarely. I have no idea why they do that, and if it's a problem for others, or if it's just her?

I tried both and she's fussing while eating with both types of nipples.

Does this mean she needs to go up to a new flow nipple?

What bottles/nipples do you all recommend? I honestly would have no idea what to buy. She's eating about 3 oz per feeding now, and it will clearly only go up, so if I have to buy new bottles I'll likely buy larger ones.
