Can anyone tell me how toddler sizing runs? For example, in comparison to Carters, Gap and H&M?

I have found that it runs larger than Gap or Carters, which is good for us (DS is almost 30 lbs at 17 months!). I have never bought H&M.

I would say very true-to-size. Smaller than H&M (which I find huge) but equivalent or larger than Carters/Old Navy.

Agree with @peachykeen: true to size-ish, maybe a bit big. But not as big as H&M or Gap. I think the Cat & Jack leggings are the slimmest fit of any of the brands you mentioned.

I think it's a little big, but shrinks a lot so after it washes it's true to size.

This is my newborn in he newborn size- a little roomy, but he's small
My five year old fits perfectly in their 5t, and he is just over 40 lbs and 43".

I thought it ran a little small in my opinion! My dd is 30lbs and 23 months, and in size 3T for Carters stuff. I just bought a pair of Cat & Jack leggings, and holy cow, they are skin tight on her little thighs! They are plenty long, but thin. Who knows maybe my girl just has some chucker thighs like her momma

@MrsBrewer: I have this problem with H&M, which is why I listed it for comparison. DS is 2.5, can still fit in their 18 months jeans in the waist and thighs but is a long way from fitting the length...

@Raspberry: Well Cat and Jack might be perfect then, because I think (at least for toddler girls) the thighs and waist seem smaller/more snug than Carters.

We've only purchased shirts and find that they are narrower and longer than carter's, which is perfect for DS!

I think they are pretty true to size but narrower.
