When browsing the dollar aisle (looking for the alphabet magnets everyone has talked about) I found books for 1 dollar. The Secret Garden, The Little Princess, and Alice in Wonderland. I LOVED these books when I was younger so I snapped them out to read to her when she gets a little bigger They had other ones too that I might go back to get (some boy options too.)
