I have one and I'm not worried about it. But I tend to be pretty far down on the "worried about stuff that could theoretically but most likely won't happen" meter...

I just recently got the debit RedCard. I also have the Nordstrom debit card as well. While I do think it is possible it could be hacked or stolen and the money would come out of my checking account, my bank has a really good fraud protection program. They are great about contacting me if there is any slight indication of suspicious transactions. They also have a pretty good policy about making funds available during the fraud investigation. I just make sure to have some cashin a different account just in case but I don't worry too much about fraud withthe debit cards.
