I've been trying to do a little Christmas shopping on this Cyber Monday and Target's site is down and has been for at least an hour! Articles online say it's "restored' but that is not the case for me. I would think after their credit card fiasco last year they would be on their game but I guess not! anyone else notice sites being down on this big shopping day?

There's a website you can go to called, downforeveryoneorjustme.com and you can type in the site and it will tell you if it's your computer or if the site is down. Target appears to be running fine!

I was just browsing and didn't have any issues but just tried adding a rug to my cart and said "oops there is a line waiting for this item" really? a rug??
so yeah I guess they are having some issues

@LuLu Mom: I haven't tried in a little bit but it was working, then not working, earlier. Like I could add something to my cart but when I went to view cart or keep shopping is get the too busy page again.

It's super slow. So glad I didn't wait to get to work to order my car seat! Saved almost $200!

ETA: I take that back. The site pulls up, but I can't get beyond that to purchase anything.
ETA: Now I'm being told that there is a line for the item I want to buy. That's crazy!

It probably took me 1.5 hrs to complete my order (just let it run in the background) but it eventually worked.

They must be losing so much money with all this! I mean, obviously making tons too since the site is so busy, but how many people just won't order. Glad I don't work there right now.

The website for students at my school to submit online assignments, view grades, etc., is down too. Apparently it shares a server with Amazon. I'm pretty annoyed.

It's working for me but every damn thing is on a wait list, including swim diapers. Really people?! So I can't add anything. Lame.

I can't add anything to my cart...I doubt there's an actual "wait list" for the items, I think that's just the message they're giving now instead of "too much traffic". Seems like the figured out how to let people browse, but they simply can't process any more orders. Frustrating.

I was able to place two orders in the past 30 minutes. I got the "in line" pop up a couple of times for each item, but after a few minutes it let me add everything I wanted with no problems.

Ugh. Is anyone else getting "The maximum quantity of this item has been already been added to cart." when they try to add anything to their cart? Frustrating!

I am having better luck with Safari than with Chrome if that helps anyone!

Well it took forever, but half an hour ago it suddenly started working again and I was able to order a whole bunch of nursing bras and tanks, 30% off if you bought 3 or more plus 15%. Managed to save $78 so worth the annoyance I guess (may return some but won't get a better deal I don't think).

Not sure if this will help anyone, but I was in a Target store picking up some of the stuff I bought online and I was told since I had a hard time with the website they were honoring the 15% off in store. I'm sure some stores might not be as compliant, but mine happily gave me the 15% off when I mentioned it!

OMG trying to order some shoes for DH and it won't let me add to my cart. Doesn't work on the app or online. argh

I'm thinking it's all their systems, I tried returning some items with my card earlier and the system couldn't find them and kept asking for my ID.
