Our daycare just reminded us that this is coming up April 7th - 11th. The suggested schedule includes:
Monday - "Flower Day"
Tuesday - "Make a card Day"
Wednesday - "Parent Potluck"
Thursday - "Pamper Day"
Friday "Sweets Day"
I'm going to start brainstorming ideas!

We already had ours, it was in the winter and we had to provide food.

@looch: I think that is kinda the idea. I hate that it is so "planned" and each day times 3 teachers really adds up. In the past I have just saved my money and pooled it for a gift card for the end of the week. I may still try to participate without spending money because I would rather give the money straight to the teacher rather than on flowers in addition to the other 20 they are getting. Not sure how I could do Pamper and Sweets without spending anything.

@T.H.O.U.: Oh! Are you clever??? You could always make up a little poem each day that goes along with the theme but no gift - then at the end of the week do a gift card??
Like Monday is flowers - so make a paper flower and attach a card that says " Flowers are pretty but they die too soon! Your real gift will be here Friday at Noon!"
Then on Tuesday for Make a card - Make a card and do another rhyme - Cards are sweet Cards are fun
On Friday you will see who is #1 (Ok so that was dumb but you get the idea!)

Is it wrong that I would be annoyed if I got this from my kid's school? And I am a teacher! 
Remembering one day I'm supposed to send something is stressful enough....

@looch: I agree. I definitely want to show appreciation but doing something everyday for a week seems excessive to me.

We had one for my sons preschool in the fall and we brought food so they could have a nice lunch. Interesting that we have different weeks/days!

I think this is actually a great idea. At preschool age if the child is involved it can be very educational, fun and set them up for Instilling the values of education, creativity, generosity, kindness. If I were to start up something at LOs preschool I would phrase it as a suggestion and reiterate you don't have to spend money because, agreed, I wouldn't want to pressure parents into spending money.

Day 1 - flowers.
I'm trying to use supplies on hand so I broke out old scrapbook paper and cut out flower petals for her to glue on. She loved the craft and I think they turned out pretty cute!
