Teacher bees, if your baby was born during the school year or you would be returning from leave during the school year, did you give your principal a specific start back date before hand, or did you say x weeks from baby's birth?

With DS, he was due in Nov, and I told them I'd be back for the first day of second semester in Jan (he was about 9 weeks when it was all said and done).

This time, I am due early August, right before meetings start. I pray that I'm not late like I was with DS, but I had considered saying I'll come back for the start of 2nd quarter, but I'd really rather just have a set number of weeks, rather than losing time if he's late (if he's early, I think I'd do the quarter thing).
