DD is 2. We ask her to say hello and goodbye to people, though we don't push it if she doesn't want to yet. We also give her the option to wave.

She almost always has to sit at the table until everyone is done, although usually she takes the longest. If she finishes early we have some quiet toys she can use at the the table. The exceptions to this are if we are at someone else's house and other kids are getting up and playing.

She says bless you if people sneeze, excuse me if she burps, and uses please and thank you when asking for things/receiving things with minimal prompting.

I, obviously, am the one writing thank you cards on her behalf but she colors on them or decorates them with stickers.

We don't say sir/ma'am but are trying to work on her addressing people by name.

It's all a work in progress.

B is not quite 3, and very shy, but we're working on acknowledging people when they talk to you, at least waving hello and goodbye. We're also working on not interrupting, I'm trying to get him to remember to say "Excuse me" when he wants my attention and then wait until I'm done talking to take his turn. Oh, and phrasing requests as questions instead of demands

Dd is almost 2. She'll say please, thank you, bless you, and sorry.... But not always in the right context. Ha!

If she takes something she wants she'll say thank you, since clearly you meant to give it to her. Or when her baby brother is crying she'll tell him sorry, since you cry when someone hurts you.

In the future I know Dh wants her to use ma'am and sir, but we haven't started that yet.

yes, especially with my now 4 year old... we're always enforcing please, thank you, excuse me, etc.

lately I've been teaching him to hold the door when we're out & about in public for others.

manners with little brother has been more challenging though...
