I'm so confused! I can apparently only post photos from my computer, but my friend can post photos from her iphone (i also have an iphone). is there a setting I haven't enabled?

I just upgraded to the latest iOS and also noticed that I was now getting this feature to select a photo to upload. Whereas before, I was only able to upload using the copy/paste into the email method.

ahhh. I'm on ios 5.1.1. I've been hesitant to upgrade because I didn't want to lose my maps function.

@blackbird: Haha ME TOO! I waited this long to wait for the Google Maps app to come out, and then I dl'd it.

@blackbird: that's what I did, I have iOS 6 (came with my iPhone 4S) and downloaded the googlemaps app! That explains it. Thanks, @mrbee!

@blackbird: you can still upload photos in older versions of iOS!
Just post your message, and then click the link that appears that says, "email attachments"! Then you can paste images into the email, and send it to our servers to be attached to your post.
