Dr. Google mostly assures me that I won't die -- but of course there are always the warnings. I've never been under general anesthesia before and the closer I get to it the more nervous I get. Like writing a will nervous (okay that should've been finished ages ago but at least we're doing it now).

Also wondering how to talk to my LO about surgery. Was thinking of not mentioning anything because I'm only going to be in the hospital for surgery and recovery is just a week at home but I feel like we should say something.

She's 4. She hates when I get needles and is sensitive to mommy being sick.
