I just signed up and i really wish i would have before since i did almost all my christmas shopping online this year.
What has your experience been? It seems almost too good to be true

I made $9 just from one week on online shopping this year! I think before that I had made $3 and change from the previous 2 years (but I didn't do much online shopping, and I usually forgot).

I love it! I wish I had signed up earlier also. I do almost all my shopping online so it's great to get some cash back. I think in one year, I've earned about $180 back (this includes a $25 referral bonus)

i signed up years ago and then just would always forget to use it. when i first signed up i got $100 in rewards pretty quickly and bought a food processor!
this year i installed the toolbar and now i never forget!

I've been a member for two years and I think I've made about $300. It's great.

I use it all the time! One thing I always do is to check the percentage cash back. Sometimes when you factor it in, it is cheaper to go with one retailer over another (eg, if Target is selling something for $50 but has 10% cash back, it's cheaper to buy it from them than a place selling the same item for $47).

Ebates is great! I wish I had done it sooner. Does anyone know if you still get to keep the credit if you return something?

@AmeliaBedilia: you do not. I believe It will remove it from your account. I remember it happening to me before.
Also if you use it to book travel, it won't credit your account until after your travel date

I'm so mad at myself. I signed up in 2012 and never used it. I just started a month ago and now I'm up to almost $80. I referred two friends and got $45 in referral bonuses only one more and I'm up to $70 in bonus cash. That is pretty amazing!

I am so kicking myself for not signing up earlier, THEN right after I signed up I totally forgot to go through them first!! So far I've made $10.

@AmeliaBedilia: Most retailers are able to track it and it gets deducted from your cash back.

@shopaholic: there is a toolbar you can download which reminds you anytime you're on a site with cash back.

I don't do a ton of online shopping so I usually get about $5-$10 back per quarter. However, the past two checks have had some really good deals (and big purchases) so I've seen a lot more back!
@Mrs. Bee: I love the toolbar! DH thinks it's super annoying but the always asks about using it when he shops

It has been great! I've made over $100 and once I install that toolbar I know I will easily make more.
