I have very little patience for most children's music, but I recently discovered "Rabbit Days and Dumplings" (a collection of folk and children's songs from Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Tibet) after hearing about it on NPR - and I LOVE love it! Made me wonder what other musical gems I am missing out on...
So, please tell me about your favorite family-friendly music albums! (If it's available on iTunes - even better!)

elizabeth mitchell is wonderful! she has a duet album she did with lisa loeb and that's great, too.
the barenaked ladies has a children's album that's fun, too!

@alayaya: yessss! jason mraz's version of "the rainbow connection" (on the second album) is so beautiful! actually so is sarah maclachlan's version on the first album!

The Barenaked Ladies album is good. i LOVE the They Might Be Giants kids albums (they've got 4 I think). We listen to them all the time at school (I teach). I also like playing the Beatles, the I Am Sam soundtrack, and Greg & Steve. Greg & Steve is cheesy, but I just can't help it - the songs are so catchy!

Dan Zanes has great kids music that I still find enjoyable as an adult. Laurie berkner I can handle in smaller doses, it's fun, but starts to wear on me. Ziggy marley has some great kid music.

@Mrs.Someone: my brother sent us this for my birthday. I haven't listened to it yet but I'll have to now!
I turn on They Might Be Giants Pandora station and that is usually tolerable. I also like Disney songs.
