I had a dream the other night that my MIL called and told me to pack R's bags because they were taking her to Disney World the next day. I told her that we wanted to take R for the first time and she told me it was too late because they already had tickets.

My dream last night woke me up out of a dead sleep.
I don't remember what I was doing, where or why, but I was taken for a random csection and watched the entire procedure. My baby was born at six months of age, and sat right up. It was cool in my dream, but I woke up literally having back pain.

Not really weird, just more like....sad. I keep having this recurring dream lately that Dh and I aren't together anymore and I'm on my own. Sometimes S exists in my dreams and sometimes she doesn't

I was Amish and wanted to marry an Amish boy, and we had a trophy, but the trophy was deemed too worldly. When my mom had her back turned, we ran away (with our trophy) and ended up getting picked up in Chicago by a nice man who needed to pay his rent. So we went to this central location (conveniently on the expressway) where everyone has to go to pay their rent and we were trying to not be noticed. Then we way my mom looking for us. After that, I woke up.

@illumina: I have dreams like this every once on a while. I wake up so sad because it feels so real that we're not together anymore. They were really bad leading up to our wedding. I figured it was a good thing that it upset me

I think this one tops my weird charts. A couple days ago I had a dream where I was a man who wanted to sleep with my fiance's mom. I dressed up as a woman and went to the mom's house pretending to be a girl that had been at the wedding shower the day before and had accidentally left my phone in the daughter's bedroom (my fiance). I tried to get the mom alone so I could take off my woman costume and seduce her I guess. I don't know, thankfully I woke up! Oh, and on top of being a man I was also a different race! W.T.F.

I've had some doozies recently! Maybe the postpartum hormones?
After I read Stephen Gaskin had died, I dreamt that I was at a gladiator event (like Ancient Rome style) with Ina May Gaskin. We were stepping over brutally slaughtered people while I tried to tell her my birth story, but she had no interest in hearing it. She was trying to get away discreetly to find incontinence pads. Weird beyond weird.
In another one, DH and I were having a quiet moment and realized he was going to die, so he pulled me close and said, "this is my last one," and breathed his last breath into me with a kiss. Then I woke up. So intense!

I had a dream that SMIL finally came down from her high horse and e-mailed me to get together, haha!
@swedishfish: haha, OMG, this is totally something SMIL and FIL might do! They've talked about taking my kids to Disney World a bunch even though I've TOLD them that WE will be doing it, not them!

I have weird dreams, like REALLY weird dreams, all the time. The last one I remember vividly is that I was trying to conduct an interview with a source (I'm a newspaper reporter) but it felt like I had something stuck in my mouth/swollen lips and couldn't really talk. Plus, for some reason my dad was sitting in on the interview, and he had brought a bunny, which he was allowing to run all over the room and distract people. I excused myself to go to the bathroom and examine my mouth, and I ended up peeling my gums back and pulling what was basically a mold ofy mouth out of my mouth. What was left were teeth that were all pointy and had huge gaps. I was all upset because I thought my parents were going to be disappointed to have a daughter with such an ugly mouth. So to make them proud, I decided to become a professional ski racer...and I was really good...

Last night, I had a dream that my husband was initiating.....ahem...sexy time. I turned to him and asked, "Does Sheila know about me?" What the hell?! I was "the other woman" in my own dream!?! So weird.

I'm so upset that all my weird dreams are gone! They say pregnancy gives you weird dreams, but I have weird/epic/movie like dreams to begin with and now I have nothing!
