It's time, either tonight or tomorrow night for DS's first real bath in the baby bath tub. How was your LO's first bath? Great? Miserable? Terrifying? We have the First Years Infant to Toddler tub with the sling.

My LO didn't love the bath for the first three months. She would scream and scream and scream until it was over. But now she loves it and cries when it's time to get out

Once we put her in the bath she was ok. She cried a lot in the beginning because DH held her up while I poured water on her. But once we put her to sit in the tub around 3 weeks, she was less scared and did ok.

She actually did great for her first bath, she cried for a few minutes but then got used to it and was fine. The next couple of baths didn't go so well, she cried at the beginning and end of those. But now at 11 weeks tomorrow, she loves baths and sometimes cries when it's over.

first time they were both pretty fussy. got a little better over the next 3 days maybe. they totally love it since then and get more upset when I take them out!
started them on nightly blue tub baths around 6 weeks, i think.

He cried through the first one. For the second bath we filled up his tub and didn't put the sling part in and let him float (supporting his head and butt and keeping his neck down underwater) and he loved it, and didn't fuss when we put the sling in and washed him.
Now (he's 8 weeks tomorrow) he can be screaming his cute little head off but as soon as I walk into the bathroom and lay him down on his towel on the rug so I can fill the tub he immediately calms down.

We did this a few days or a week ago and she cried and cried! I think it was too cold in the room. The next two times we did it in the bathroom with the ceiling heater on and she was fine until she had to get out and dry off and she got cold again. Overall though she seems pretty calm in the bath! We have the whale tub.

We have that tub, too. LO hated the bath at first--we switched to mommy & baby baths to get her used to the water and now she loves them.

Same as everyone else. She hated it at first. Those first baby Bath photos are screaming baby photos. Now she loves it. The warmer the water the better.

His first bath was with me at the hospital! He loved it! I think partly because he had the comfort and safety of me as well.
He still loves baths.

Her first bath was awful. She screamed bloody murder the whole time. Husband and I were so traumatized! We only bathed her like once a week for the first few months of her life
She loves it now though! She actually cries when we take her out of the water.

DS screamed bloody murder during his first bath. It was awful. After a few baths, I figured out that he loved hearing the water run. He's loved the bath ever since.

First time wasn't great. 2nd time, we used a space heater to keep her warm after she got wet and then she loved it.
