I started shedding after my first pregnancy at 4 months PP. It stopped when I got pregnant at almost 8 months PP. I wonder if it would have continued for a few more months?

Mine started about 3 months and at almost 9 months pp its finally stopped. I was starting to think I would lose it all.

Mine started about a month ago (2 months pp) and it's just ridiculous how much hair I lose every day! I feel like I could spin yarn out if it - it comes out continuously if I run my hands through my hair! I go through 4 swiffer sheets in just our bedroom every day picking up hair!

Hair loss wasn't bad at all both times.
I think I started shedding again 2 months ago?
Losing the same amount as I used to before babies. -
Clicked on this because I'm at a new salon right now getting my hairs did and grossing everyone out with all my shedding. I have explained now to two people that I have a baby and that's why! 8 months pp and the shed is worse than ever. Started around 5 months. Who knows when it will end? Thank God I have a lot of hair, otherwise I'd probably be bald by now.

I felt like it was worse after I had my second baby. The itty bitty flying hair is finally half way down my face 14 months pp. I'm still losing quite a bit though but it's probably normal. I just don't remember what normal is anymore. They say it's normal to lose about 100 strands of hair a day!

From 2-6 months it was terrible!! I mean really bad. I'm 14 months pp now and I finally feel like its been normal for a bit.

Started at 3 months PP and still going strong 2 months later. So gross! Also leg and underarm hair isn't really growing, so I don't have to worry about shaving.

I'm 8 months pp and I think the worst was 4-7 months? Now of course I have a layer full of fuzzy little baby hairs sort of over my hair and an inch and a half of baby bangs on my forehead. Horrible. Also, M always has at least one or two of my hairs in her little fist.

For me 3-6 months was the worst. At seven months, it is probably back to normal, but I feel like I did not shed a single hair for nine months of pregnancy, so it still feels like a lot.

I started at about 4 or 5 months losing hair and it's still going on 9 months pp. My hair is pretty long, mid-back or a little longer--so I think that makes it worse.

I'd say mine stopped at 6m? But then again, that is also when I got 4inches chopped off and a ton of body. My hair was lighter and I left it down a lot more after that. Maybe that helped reduce the falling out?

Started 3 months PP and now at 6 months is starting to slow down. Sometimes I'm amazed I even have hair left at all!

I had bald spots!!! Major major bald spots. My hair dresser gave me a shampoo that was supposed to help regrowth for balding individuals. I can't remember when it started falling out bit it really slowed down once my doctor realized my thyroid was messed up and I started medication. One of the common side effects of the meds is hairlose, once my thyroid regulated and I adjusted to the meds it stopped, ~8 mo pp. <-- not sure how much of mine was pp hairlose vs thyroid related though

mine started almost immediately, think like 3 weeks PP, and stopped at around 5 months

The day D turned 3 months old, I started shedding, out of control. I swear, you could wig a Barbie with the hair I lose on a daily basis. Hoping it slows down soon!
ETA: Currently 5 months pp.

Mine started at 3 mo pp and still going strong at 6 mo. I feel like I can make wigs out of the hair I'm losing! I'm just happy my hair's so thick or I'd have huge bald spots by now.

Mine started this last month at 3 months pp! I guess I have a ways to go before it stops... It's sooo disgusting.
I don't remember it being this bad with my first!

I just want to weep. The amount of hair I lose everyday is alarming. Like huge chunks. My ponytail is feel like a freakin' spaghetti noodle. WAAAAAH!

@autumnlove: It WAS. Now it's so awful & sad. I also noticed my first white hair the other day. It was white as a piece of paper... right up front. I'm losing my hair by the handful, the hairs I do have are turning white, can't remember a dang thing, and still pee when I sneeze... I'm officially a 90-year-old woman.

Mine was the worst between 3-6 months and tapered off after that. I still feel like it's on the thinner side, though.

A bunch of mine just fell out in the front (where the baby hairs are) at 4 months PP, and then slowly grew back, but the crazy shedding didn't continue past that.

Mine is starting now! 4 months PP....ugh it's so gross when I am washing my hair in the shower! I cant stand to have it down since it falls all over the place. It's constantly in a ponytail.

At almost four months PP, my hair loss is ridiculous. I have it constantly in a ponytail like PP.

It started falling our around 3-4 months and didn't stop until 10 months or so. And I lost a similar amount during my first trimester, so my hair is just going to be a hot mess for a while. I'm over it and just want the stupid baby hairs to stop being crazy!
