Is it all over or just in certain areas? When did it slow down?
My shedding is bad around my hairline...I hope it grows back!?

Mine started around 3 months pp and lasted until around 6 months. It was all over. I'd shower and be picking groups of 10 or 12 or more strands off at a time. I'd comb it out and the comb would be full after only a stroke or two.

I lost a lot around my hairline, all the way around my head. I have long hair and still have this ring of weird shorter hair when I put my hair in a ponytail.

Mine just started. I get handfuls from all over when I rinse out my conditioner. I hope it ends quickly!

I actually just posted on Facebook tonight about postpartum hair loss.LO is almost a year and a half and I am still waiting for my hairline to grow back. It's just my hairline, I've got a receding one. No more hair has shed but it hasn't grown back.

my hair shed by the handful from 2 months PP to around 6 months. I mean, literally, handfuls. I would wake up every morning and my pillow would be COVERED in hair. I would pull out handfuls when I even gently combed my hair. Washing my hair would block our shower drain every. single. time. I was starting to get worried that I was going to lose ALL my hair, when the hair loss just went back to normal.
it grew back alright, in a nice fluffy fan around my hairline (front and back) that would not sit down for anything! no amount of hairspray or product could make those little fluffles lie down!
I actually just recently cut bangs to hide the front ones!!

My was all over. Started around 4 months and at 6.5 it finally slowed down!

I cut my hair pretty short around 3 months pp and never noticed any hair falling out. Maybe it hasn't started yet?

@rachiecakes: I have that too! It finally grew long enough where it lies down instead of sticks up. I call it my "mom top bob"

Mine wasn't too bad. I shed from 3-4 months pp, now it's back to normal.

Mine was mostly around the hairline -- or at least it was most noticeable there. I think it stopped falling out maybe 7-ish months PP for me. The re-growth was almost worse b/c the new little short hairs stuck up everywhere. I did a lot with hair product and my straightening iron, but usually I still had these short little 2-inch wispies sticking straight up out of my part every day. It looked awful! Now it's long enough that the new growth will lie flat, and I can tame any frizzies with a straightening iron.

It felt like it would never end. I think my hair stopped falling out when I got pregnant with DS2, almost 2 years later. I'm probably exaggerating, but I felt like I always had tiny baby hairs on my head.

Mine went from 3-6 months or so. I think that my husband had to Drain-O my sink a few times during that time. It felt like it was from all over. I was so relieved when it stopped.

Mine started around 4 months and started slowing down around 9. I lost a ton right at my hairline. It's just starting to get a little longer than a flyaway now and I'm 12 months PP. Otherwise, it was also all over. My hair was coming out in clumps. It looks awful now.

Mine started at 3 months post partum and it was all over. It's just now starting to taper off at almost 6 1/2 months.

mine started at 4 mo pp, slowed around 8 months, and picked up again around 10. or maybe this is what it was like before i got pregnant? i can't tell. anyway my hair looks terrible now. i have this spiky mess near my hairline and i have side swept bangs that are really thin now! its growing back, but i look ridiculous sometimes.

Mine pretty much just stopped, my ponytail is soooooo thin now.

Mine was crazy bad. Like clumps of hair continuously coming out. Was pretty terrible from 3-6 months pp. I had bald patches especially near my hairline. 7 months and it's slowed down and I have a short lion's mane around my hairline.

It felt like major clumps fell out everywhere, but I noticed it most on my hairline. 13 months later it appears to be completely over, but I don't have the volume I once had, and worry that I might never again.
