Mine hardly wore clothes all summer

LO is due in about a month, but I envision lots of onesies in our future this summer. I have some rompers and a couple of outfits with shorts, but mostly I think one-piece things seem easiest and most comfortable.

@spaniellove: we've been homebodies because LO hasn't had her first set of shots yet. The Pediatrician recommended not to bring her out where people might touch her until her shots

And the answer to the second question is how often do you want to do laundry?

Cloth diapering definitely makes babies fill out their clothes more! Our little one has always been on the long and lean side so it hasn't been a huge deal. We didn't start using cloth until she was 2- months old though, so I'm not sure how it is with newborn clothes.

We did a ton of rompers! They're SO cute (both DS and DD wore 'em). Cloth diapers definitly add bulk, though. Don't buy a ton of anything, that's for sure, as you never know how things will fit and what you'll like- I planned on CDing from the beginning, but they both had chicken legs and the CDs didn't fit at all for quite a while.

C just wore onesies 90 percent of the time. Even with the ac on at home, she was usually swaddled, and I liked being able to check her diaper easily.

She was over 8 pounds at birth but somehow still just a peanut so her 0-3 stuff was big for a long time. Gerber 0-3 onesies were the best bc they were bigger than nb, but still smaller than any other brand 0-3.

My LO was born in July and because the ac was on in most places she wore onesies and cotton pants. For the first month she wore the kimono tops. We started off with not too many because we were team green but by the time we left the hospital we had more than enough.
I think the rule of thumb with a newborn is one more layer then you because they can't regulate their temp
