I always love how positive these threads leave me feeling. 
My sister brought me Starbucks today! I had wanted to leave the house but we're in the middle of a snow storm so with DS to drag along it seemed like a lot of work. It was awesome to get a text from my sister, out of the blue, asking if I wanted a Starbucks on her!

@.twist.: I was just telling DH the other day that I really want to take a CPR class again. I think reading about that woman who saved her infant nephew's life (it was all over the news recently) reminded me just how important that skill is. Good for you for retaking it!

Mine is lame--our new toilet seat was finally delivered, and our old one that fell off the hinges is in the trash, huzzah!
I also made a particularly good pot of coffee this morning. Really small thing, but good coffee always makes my day start out better

@coopsmama: thanks! We have been doing solids for a while and I want to get into some more substantial foods, so I really wanted to get a refresher done! Feels really good and I was so happy to find out that I remembered a LOT from my course way back in high school! I think it's totally important!

DD woke up really early from her regularly long nap so I laid down with her. She went back to sleep and I got to nap for an hour and a half!! I always feel like I have too much to do during naptime other than napping so it was nice to kind of be forced to. Plus, I love my baby snuggles!

One of my friends had her baby this morning! She's about 2 weeks ahead of me, so it was awesome to get update texts from her sisters all morning and live vicariously through her labor.

I found out that I passed my 3hr glucose test, and I received an unexpected gift from a friend! It turned out to be a lovely Monday, despite my attitude when I woke up.

I woke up DS to change him, and he was in a lovely mood; I conducted a good job interview with a qualified and personable candidate who I think would fit well in our company; I went to two college classes this evening that were really interesting; I managed to subway home just in time to read DS three stories before putting him to bed; and I've chopped some vegetables for a delicious, healthy dinner with DW!

Everything!! DH is taking a week off in between jobs so today was the best Monday I've had in awhile!
We woke up and I cooked breakfast (eggs, bacon, toast, fruit salad) and we got up and went to a discovery museum close by. E had a blast. Then we got lunch and ice cream at our favorite places in the city. After nap we spent an hour at the park then watched half of Aladdin and now she's going down at 7:30 (an hour early)!! And tomorrow grandma is picking up DD so DH & I can hang out and do some chores around the house

Monday was supposed to be DH's first day back at work after his week of paternity leave, but he decided to work from home and have one more day with his girls. Sooo happy we had an extra day together!

My coworker bought me a Dunkin's coffee even though I originally said I didn't want one but then after he left, I decided I did and had no way to tell him. He just decided to get me one anyway!! So sweet!
