Yesterday I had one of those days where you just feel really cute. It put me in a great mood. Also, this weekend I'm going for a long overdue dinner date with a bunch of girlfriends!

I had a blood test confirm i'm pregnant earlier this week! I'd say that was the best thing that happened to me this week

I went for an acupuncture induction treatment yesterday and, while I'm still not in labour, it was such a wonderful experience. It totally changed my attitude about being overdue and I needed that. I've stopped being frustrated with my body and started just putting my faith in my baby and my body.
Sorry if that seems totally crunchy and out there!

I had an amazing dinner out with my DH Wednesday. We sat in the restaurant for over 3 hours talking and sipping champagne.

My parents just arrived in town and will be here for the next four days. I'm happy they'll be here to spend time with me and my hubs and baby, and I'm also very happy to have them out of the Boston area for the next few days.

@MamaMoose: Oh, good they escaped the Boston madness! They left just in time before they blocked off transportation! I hope they stay with you if things aren't settled in 4 days (although at this point, I don't imagine it will be much longer).

I turned 23 on Tuesday. I got to order my Beco Gemini. I cleaned the house and feel really good about that. I made red velvet cupcakes and cake (as you know). And I've actually gotten a decent amount of sleep this week.

My sister was having a crummy week so to cheer her up I tracked down a purse that she fell in love with but was sold out everywhere (found in FL!) and got it ordered for her. She was so happy when I told her it made my day as much as it made hers

@hergreenapples: I'm a control freak, also. My recent events have made me learn to stop trying to be in complete control, cause sometimes no matter how hard you try, you can't make everything turn out the way you want it to. It's a major point for me, and something I need to let go of.

I turned a year older and went to dinner with my two favorite loves (DH & DD) and tonight we are going to celebrate with friends. I'm longover do for some adult time, DH surprised me with a hotel and a babysitter, so it should be fun!

Didn't go on the inlaw visit trip because of crazy Chicago weather. We'll go next week, but at least, we'll have a counseling session today to hash some stuff out before going.
I packed my diaper bag to a tee as well. It's so ready for a trip down to puffs in a snack container, desitin packets, adult snacks, and book. So proud of my perfectly packed diaper bag.

R has a good one month appointment. She is in the 25% for weight and 90% length. Our tall and skinny girl. She got some medicine for her reflux. Which seems to be working, so that is awesome!!!

@Dandelion: The doctor said that it could be. I don't think so though. Time will tell. She just likes to be held and once she gets upset she can't calm herself down. Just going to keep putting her in it every day and hope for the best.
