We are getting company cell phone plan and I need to pick a phone!! I was trying to decide between the iPhone and Galaxy. I think since I have Galaxy Nexus now, I'm going to stick with android rather than having to learn a new OS. Tell me what you love/hate about your Galaxy!

@petunia354: I think since you have a Android now I would stick with it. I've had both. iPhone forever and got a s4 bc everyone kept raving about how it's sooo much better than a iPhone.
Honestly......I'm not that impressed. One of the biggest selling points for me is the picture quality is SO much better than a iPhone. It really isn't.
It takes FOREVER to charge while you're using it. It sucks battery life even if I have no apps opened.
It likes to cut off my wifi connection even though I have no issues connecting via other electronics.Things I DO like:
bigger screen
it is much lighter than a iPhone
I use google calendar so it's much better integrated than Apple's way
Widgets!
Swipe!ETA: DH has the Active and he hates it with a passion. It drops calls on him all the time. His picture quality is really crappy. His phone will literally die overnight when going to sleep it was previously at 60% ish. he will likely be going back to an iPhone when the 5 comes out.

Ditto on android. If you went to apple, you would have to re-buy all the apps you have already purchased (if you have). I'm all about brand loyalty and have been an Android fan for years.

@petunia354: yea....tell him don't! My brother has a cell store and he told me it's a common problem with an Active. I wish he would have told me that before we committed to it! That's why we got him that one too because of the waterproof. I was going to as well because of our LO but changed my mind when I read online that the picture quality is not as good.
And oh the speaker function on the Active is horrible. So if he's driving a lot and talking on speaker that can be a huge issue. Which my husband does.....If he wants the s4 too I would stick with the original. It's def better constructed than the Active overall. I think they're doing a BOGO deal on the s4 right now!

I have an iPhone and DH has a Galaxy S3. I do think the Galaxy S3 (and I would assume S4) takes better photos than my iPhone. Maybe that is user driven and the samsung corrects for that when iPhone doesn't but I always want him to take photos with his camera vs. mine. I also like the swipe typing on his phone and that his is bigger but lighter. However, I always mess myself up on his phone but have yet to screw myself over with my iPhone. If you already have droid and like it, I'd stick with it.

I recently ditched iPhone (after having one for yearsss) for a Galaxy S4 and I am 100% happy that I made the switch. The phone looks nicer, is much easier to customize, and I don't miss any apps that I had on my iPhone because I've been able to find everything in the google play store and apps are actually cheaper.
The only thing that drives me bonkers is the alarm... For whatever reason, I've had a couple of issues with it and I don't fully trust it to wake me up, so I've been setting another alarm on top of it.
ETA: The keyboard also sucks on the galaxy S4.... the autocorrect is TERRIBLE. I downloaded SwiftKey and my problem has been solved! This keyboard is much better and more accurately predictive than apple's.

- Cheaper. The phone itself and the apps.
- Lots of Apps that cost money on the Apple Store are free on Google Play.
- Just as easy to use as an iPhone. IMO, people who say otherwise are looking for problems, where as with the iPhone they automatically assume it's perfect and write off any glitches. (Apple does have pretty much the best branding ever since Diamonds). I'm an extremely tech savvy person and I've had some silly usability problems with Apple devices.

couldwere able to download another keyboard which works better for you). You're not stuck using it exactly the way "they" say you should use it. -

I have a Galaxy Note II. This ia the inky phone that I really cared to learn how to operate. I love the multiple internet windows, my stylus, the ability to take pics and use the camera forward facing, I love the sound. It's an overall outstanding phone!
