My mom keeps sharing images like this with me on Pinterest ... While I jokingly refer to myself as an introvert, or share funny introvert memes on FB, her caption of "Wow! *sadface*", plus the other 4 photos like this one, make me think she's actually concerned.
Or maybe she's just addicted to her new Kindle, and wants to bond? 
Anyone else's parents just "don't understand"?

My mom is a major extrovert and I'm an introvert.
It's tough. She doesn't understand why I do the things I do and I know exactly why she does the things she does. I have been trying harder to explain to her where I'm coming from and point out things she does that are different than how I do it. It has helped greatly.

Yep. I got a coffee mug from my parents one year that said 'I have a life, I just prefer it online' and a card that said 'I like computers- that's where my friends live.'
I'm like...blogging does not mean that I only have an online life. I just can't handle being around people 24/7. Being an introvert is okay too!

My mother does not understand sarcasm... And I run on sarcasm. She will take what is said or posted at face value. Needless to say, I used to get a lot of phone calls...
