I'm here! Just got to work, and it's so quiet, and I know it will be all day. Hoping to head out early!

I'm working 8-3, my normal schedule! We're eating at a restaurant tomorrow so there is no food prep for me and I'm really happy! I need a year off.

Working from home til midday then probably going to run some errands w the boys!
We're heading to the inlaws for a small dinner instead of a huge family dinner we typically host for my extended fam!

@snowjewelz: ahhhhh I was *really* hoping to get a haircut this weekend. But I just don't think I can squeeze one in. I haven't had one since before DD2 was born!

Working most of the day, and then prepping sides tonight. I host every year, and will be again tomorrow
Someday when I don't have to work right up until the holiday, I will make everything from scratch. For now, I have family bring some things and I buy a pre-cooked deep fried turkey.

Family is on their way down and I'm cooking and going crazy with my toddler. DH installed a dishwasher last night and this morning so that's helpful.

Working but heading home early to beat some of the traffic. I'm cooking tomorrow but it's just the four of us so I feel virtually no pressure. We will eat whenever we get around to it

@bushelandapeck: I was hoping DH could get out early too. Doesn't look like it's going to happen. He's still got to drop the dog off at the kennel. Ugh. I'm almost thinking we should just eat dinner at home then hit the road.

Working today. Its slow and boring. I'll get off at 330pm, but that's my normal quittin' time.
Plans are to bake sweet potato pie and cornbread (to stale overnight for stuffing), and brine our turkey breast plate. Maybe we'll go out to dinner or order takeout - make it easier on us.
Our fridge and washer both went on the fritz this past week. Luckily washer got fixed yesterday and the fridge guy is en route. Hopefully that gets fixed before I get home.
Thanksgiving will just be DH, me, and DS so I'm looking forward to cooking and snacking together and having lots of leftovers to eat throughout the weekend. Someone gave us a banana cream pie and we're making sweet potato pie, so we'll have plenty of dessert!

@snowjewelz: nah, we just have too much planned already. Tomorrow is thanksgiving so that's out. Friday is dim sum then take my niece shopping for her birthday. Friday night DH and I are having a date night. Saturday we're going to visit my grandmother, she hasn't met DD2 yet. Then out to dinner to celebrate my nieces birthday. Sunday we leave.

@snowjewelz: Bun-Ker! It's like a Vietnamese fusion place. Just outside of Williamsburg, bordering on queens.
Really don't want to spend half of date night dealing with traffic.

@Pumpkin Pie: oh man, that just sounds like a bad idea! We were fueling up at the BJs pumps and even that was crazy!
