The season premiere of The Bachelor is on tonight, who is watching?! It's my guilty pleasure, so I can't wait! I'll probably have to watch it from the DVR though, unless I can get my mom chores done early

I might watch it! I don't have cable, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow when it's on Hulu

I'm in a Bachelor fantasy league this season, so I'm super excited! I'm DVRing and will probably watch as soon as the kids are in bed! I really liked Ben in Kaitlyn's season, so I think I'll like watching his season.

@twodoghouse: I've never heard of a Bachelor fantasy league. That sounds fun!

I'm so excited! Such a guilty pleasure
I have to work overnight tonight though, so it's going on the DVR.

@twodoghouse: what is this?
I'll be watching but I will have to DVR it because my husband can't stand it!
honeydew / 7230 posts
@aprild: @Canoli: It's http://www.bachelorleague.com. You choose 4 women for your "team" and get points based on things that happen in the episodes. I've never played for a regular Bachelor season before, but I did do Bachelor in Paradise last summer. It makes watching the shows even more fun! And there's a discussion group on Facebook to talk about the episodes which is probably the best part! I think there might be time to sign up still if you're interested!

@Canoli: my husband had no interest until a season or so ago when he was in the room an extended period of time and got sucked in. Now, we watch it together...it's our guilty pleasure. We especially love to trash talk, etc.

So excited!!! It feels like so long since the last one. I love this show
pomegranate / 3032 posts
totally my guilty pleasure and i usually make my husband watch just for his funny side comments
pear / 1809 posts
@twodoghouse: It says there's no more time for private leagues, but I didn't check the public ones. I think it would be a lot of fun to start a league with friends. Maybe next season!
pomelo / 5628 posts
Yay! It's better on DVR anyway...they repeat everything like 10 times. I need fast-forwarding ability.

I am so excited! I will admit I have been going through Monday night Bachelor-related withdrawal for the past few months.
I would definitely join a HB fantasy league next "season".

I am stupid excited for this! DH usually uses this as an excuse to get out of the house with no complaints from me.
nectarine / 2210 posts
Can't wait! I knew it was starting soon, but didn't realize tonight. Yeah!
kiwi / 584 posts
yay! I'm not the only one who's super excited
I just love the drama it's so entertaining as nothing in my life remotely like that

This is totally my guilty pleasure but I only get to watch it when I'm visiting the US, otherwise, I'm relegated to reading about it online Super excited I get to watch tonight and next week's episode!!
I'm just reading about the contestants online and can I just say that I didn't realise being a twin was an occupation. According to the contestant Emily, it is.....this season should be a good one!

@sheskrafty: I always think about starting one, but forget and then it's too late. It would be fun for next season.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@aprild: It's not on cable! Just regular channels (ABC)! We don't have cable either! When I miss it, I do catch it on hulu though
I'll be watcing! If not tonight, tomorrow.
persimmon / 1458 posts
@Caly @chillybear: I do enjoy when my husband catches glimpses of it and gives his sidebar comments and his thoughts on the drama!

I'm really going to enjoy hometown stuff this season. Warsaw, IN is 45 minutes from where I grew up (and where my parents still live).
I'm DVRing it and started playing it late so that I can fast-forward through commercials.
pear / 1809 posts
I watched it last night! Does everyone read Reality Steve for spoilers, or do you like to be surprised? I haven't looked at his site yet, but I usually do, just because I'm impatient and want to know who wins
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@aprild: I hate spoilers. It ruins a lot of the fun for me if I already know what happens.
persimmon / 1165 posts
I hate spoilers too - although it would probably save me a lot of time because I wouldn't have to watch it. It should be a good season. Ben seems like such a nice guy - to a fault almost.
nectarine / 2591 posts
@aprild: I usually spoil myself but I enjoy watching more if I don't so have stayed away from RS this year.

anyone want to play favorites?
I liked Caila and Lauren B. (first one he met, too many Laurens )
honeydew / 7230 posts
@Mrs. Pickles: I like Caila too! I'm confused by keeping track of all the Laurens, but I did like the first Lauren and LB too!
grapefruit / 4819 posts
@aprild: I did, but only because we head back to England next weekend and I won't be able to watch the rest of the season! If I'm able to watch the whole season, I avoid the spoilers as it really does ruin it.
@Mrs. Pickles: I don't really have a favourite yet but can I just say I find the twins the most annoying, empty headed people on the planet? "Like oh my god, we're blonde twins, how can anyone compete with us?!" Umm, ok? Are you a package deal? If not, then what does being a twin have to do with anything? And the dentist lady is quite possible the craziest person I have seen yet on this show....

This is the one trashy show that I just love. I also love when it is the Bachelor not the Bachelorette, because I can convince DH to watch it with me. When it is the Bachelorette he says its to many "dudes" in one place. lol.
@Mrs. Pickles: I like Lauren B. too! And you are right...there are way to many Laurens!
bananas / 9118 posts
I half watched, but always have to re-watch the first show since there are just too many chicks to keep track of.
@Mrs.KMM: I totally missed the beginning, he's from Warsaw? So is my BIL... will have to see if he knows him
grapefruit / 4355 posts
@lemondrop: Yes - he lives in Denver now but his parents are still in Warsaw.
bananas / 9118 posts
@Mrs.KMM: That's hilarious, because they have lived in both Warsaw and Denver (well, suburb) the last couple years. I'm watching now, his description of Warsaw had me ROFL. I'll have to ask when I talk to my SIL again
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Ree723: cannot stand the twins! They're so immature. It's definitely a younger crop of girls than it normally is though. So that's... Interesting.
@Mrs. Pickles: I liked Caila, she seems a little nerdy and I love that. Plus they're in the same field.
blogger / wonderful cherry / 21616 posts
@Bao: oh my gosh I love Jubilee. First of all, I like seeing more diversity on the show- but she is also an incredible woman and so beautiful!
Eta: also really like Joelle!
